Trails Built for Everyone:
Beyond the Ashes began with small group of people and a big idea, but the story grew exponentially and turned into, not only a local, but global movement and initiative. It's a documentary about how Bentonville, Northwest Arkansas, the TRAILBLAZERS, and hundreds of adaptive athletes turned the region into not only a proving ground, but ultimately the standard by which all "universal trail" builders take their cue. And in doing so, NWA ultimately became the epicenter for adaptive Mountain Biking and set the bar for how adaptive trails and experiences are measured.
The film takes you on a journey through the achievements of the organizations and people involved, giving the audience rare glimpses into how NWA is making outdoor recreation more inclusive and innovative. It’s not just a story about cycling, it’s also about community, perseverance, transformation, and breaking down barriers.
