OFFICIAL RULES
NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. ODDS OF WINNING DEPEND ON NUMBER OF ELIGIBLE ENTRIES RECEIVED. ENTRY OPEN ONLY TO LEGAL RESIDENTS OF THE 50 UNITED STATES AND THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA WHO ARE AT LEAST EIGHTEEN (18) YEARS OF AGE. VOID IN PUERTO RICO, ALL U.S. OVERSEAS TERRITORIES AND POSSESSIONS, AND WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW.
THESE OFFICIAL RULES ("Rules") ARE A LEGALLY BINDING AGREEMENT BY AND BETWEEN YOU AND SPONSORS (DEFINED BELOW) THAT GOVERN ENTRY INTO THE SWEEPSTAKES. BY PARTICIPATING IN THE SWEEPSTAKES, YOU AGREE TO ABIDE BY THESE RULES. FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH THESE RULES WILL VOID YOUR ENTRY. PARTICIPATION IN THE SWEEPSTAKES IMPLIES AUTOMATIC ACCEPTANCE BY THE PARTICIPANT OF THESE RULES.
1. ORGANIZER/SPONSOR
The Visit Bentonville Family Getaway Sweepstakes (the "Sweepstakes") is hosted and sponsored by Visit Bentonville, located at 406 SE 5th Street, Suite 6, Bentonville, AR 72712.
2. SWEEPSTAKES PERIOD
The Sweepstakes entry period begins on June 3, 2025, at 12:00 AM Central Time and ends on June 10, 2025, at 11:59 PM Central Time (the "Sweepstakes Period"). Entries submitted before or after the Sweepstakes Period will not be eligible. Sponsor's computer is the official timekeeper for this Sweepstakes.
3. ELIGIBILITY
The Sweepstakes is open only to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia who are at least eighteen (18) years old at the time of entry. Residents of Northwest Arkansas (specifically Benton, Washington, Madison, and Carroll counties) are not eligible to participate. Employees of Visit Bentonville, Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art, the Momentary, the Scott Family Amazeum, and any of their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising agencies, as well as the immediate family members (spouse, parents, siblings, children, and spouses of any of the foregoing) and household members of each such employee are not eligible to participate. The Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations and is void in Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, other U.S. territories and possessions, and where prohibited by law.
4. HOW TO ENTER
Limit one (1) entry per person and per email address for the duration of the Sweepstakes Period. Multiple entries from the same person or email address will be disqualified. Use of any automated system to participate is prohibited and will result in disqualification.
By completing the entry form, entrants agree to receive email communications from Visit Bentonville and Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art. Entrants can opt out of receiving these communications at any time after the Sweepstakes by following the unsubscribe instructions in any email received.
5. PRIZE DETAILS
Three (3) winners will each receive a Family Weekend Getaway package (each a "Prize") consisting of:
- Two (2)-night stay in a family-friendly Airbnb in Bentonville (for up to 6 people)
- Six (6) Tickets to the KAWS: FAMILY exhibition at Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art
- One (1) autographed KAWS: FAMILY exhibition catalog
- Two hundred dollars ($200) in gift cards to Bentonville restaurants
- Custom welcome basket with local treats
- Curated weekend itinerary for Bentonville experiences
The Approximate Retail Value ("ARV") of each Prize is $2,000 USD. Total ARV of all prizes: $6,000 USD.
Winners will be offered the following weekend dates in 2025, on a first come first served basis:
- July 11-13, 2025
- July 18-20, 2025
- July 25-27, 2025
6. PRIZE CONDITIONS
All expenses and costs associated with the acceptance and use of the Prize that are not expressly specified in these Rules as being part of the Prize (including, without limitation, transportation, meals, incidentals, gratuities, travel insurance, and/or personal expenses) are the sole responsibility of the winner.
No transfer, substitution, or cash equivalent for any Prize is allowed, except at Sponsor's sole discretion. The Prize has no cash redemption value. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a Prize, in whole or in part, of equal or greater monetary value if a Prize cannot be awarded, in whole or in part, as described for any reason.
Prizes must be redeemed on the weekend awarded to each individual winner, and travel must be completed by that date. Failure to do so will result in forfeiture of the Prize.
All Prize details are at Sponsor's sole discretion. Each winner and their travel companions must travel on the same itinerary and possess valid identification documents necessary for travel.
7. WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION
On June 11, Sponsor will select three (3) potential winners in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Period and offer each of the following dates: July 11, July 18, and July 25, 2025 in order of being drawn. The odds of being selected depend on the number of eligible entries received.
Sponsor will attempt to notify the potential winners via email when their name is drawn. If a potential winner cannot be contacted within twenty-four (24) hours after the first attempt to contact them, Sponsor may select an alternate potential winner in their place at random from the remaining eligible entries.
Before being declared a winner, potential winners must complete, sign, and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability and Publicity Release within fourteen (14) days of notification attempt. If a potential winner fails to do so, or if a potential winner is found to be ineligible or not in compliance with these Rules, the Prize may be forfeited and an alternate potential winner may be selected.
8. PUBLICITY
Except where prohibited, participation in the Sweepstakes constitutes winner's consent to Sponsor's use of winner's name, likeness, photograph, voice, opinions, and/or hometown and state for promotional purposes in any media, worldwide, without further payment or consideration.
9. GENERAL CONDITIONS
Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, and/or modify the Sweepstakes, or any part of it, if any fraud, technical failures, or any other factor beyond Sponsor's reasonable control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Sweepstakes, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes or to be acting in violation of these Rules or any other promotion or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner.
10. LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY
By participating in this Sweepstakes, entrants agree that Sponsor, Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art, and their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, representatives, consultants, contractors, legal counsel, advertising, public relations, promotional, fulfillment and marketing agencies, and their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents (the "Released Parties") are not responsible for: (1) any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by entrants, printing errors or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Sweepstakes; (2) technical failures of any kind; (3) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the Sweepstakes; or (4) technical or human error which may occur in the administration of the Sweepstakes or the processing of entries.
By accepting the Prize, winners and their guests acknowledge and agree that the Released Parties are not responsible for any injuries, illness, death, losses, damages, claims, actions, or any liability that may arise from or in connection with acceptance, possession, or use/misuse of the Prize, participation in any Prize-related activity, or participation in the Sweepstakes, including travel to and from any Prize event. Each winner and their guests acknowledge that Sponsor has not made and is not responsible for any warranty, representation, or guarantee, express or implied, relating to the Prize or Prize suppliers.
11. DISPUTES
Except where prohibited, entrant agrees that: (1) any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Sweepstakes or any prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the appropriate federal or state court located in Benton County, Arkansas; (2) any and all claims, judgments, and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering this Sweepstakes, but in no event attorneys' fees; and (3) under no circumstances will entrant be permitted to obtain awards for, and entrant hereby waives all rights to claim, indirect, punitive, incidental, and consequential damages and any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased.
12. PRIVACY
Information collected from entrants is subject to Sponsor's Privacy Policy, which is available at www.visitbentonville.com/privacy.
13. WINNER LIST
For the names of the winners, send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to: Visit Bentonville KAWS Family Getaway Sweepstakes, 406 SE 5th Street, Suite 6, Bentonville, AR 72712. Requests must be received by September 30, 2025.
