Getting there

8th Street Market is located in the heart of Bentonville’s Market District, at 801 SE 8th St.—right across from the Momentary! Once you arrive, find a parking spot in the lot in front of the complex. Bike racks are also available for use if you’re coming in from the nearby Razorback Greenway.

At 8th Street Market, you’ll find several diverse dining options, including many that have received prestigious awards.

The South Market at 8th Street Market is home to Roll and Fold and 888 Hashery, both specializing in Asian cuisine (Pro tip: we love the steamed buns and dim sum!), and Sweet Freedom Cheese, an artisanal cheese shop named one of the 10 most iconic cheese shops in America by Wine Enthusiast.

Just outside the South Market, you’ll find a food truck park with Spice Shuttle, which offers authentic North-Indian cuisine; Island Vibes, serving authentic Jamaican food; Loafin Joes, a sandwich shop with some of the best meatball subs in town; The Piggy Shack BBQ, specializing in spare ribs and a delicious ribeye sandwich; and Slader's Alaskan Dumpling Co., serving—you guessed it—Alaskan style dumplings.

Founded in 2018, Hillfolk includes a selection of beautiful textile, local, and handmade goods as well as materials and tools for creating something of your own. The shop also offers classes featuring contemporary and traditional fiber arts.

Next door, you can pop into Two Friends Books, Bentonville’s independent bookstore (and cafe!), and pick up a book for a friend or shop the store’s really cute merch. They also have a great selection of natural and organic wine, beer, tea and coffee with delicious sandwiches and pastries. Be sure to return for a book club, author reading, children’s story time, poetry workshop, and more!

Brightwater: A Center for the Study of Food

While walking around 8th Street Market, you’ll notice an extensive outdoor garden. This is part of Brightwater: A Center for the Study of Food, which is an academic department of NorthWest Arkansas Community College. The Center includes a Community Outreach Recreational Education program where community members and visitors can sign up to take a cooking class ranging in subject from pie baking to pairing cheese and wine.
