Our world-famous bike trails may lure you in, but Bentonville's best-kept secret is the variety of refreshing aquatics all around town! From family-friendly water parks to gorgeous natural swim spots, we've got tons of top spots within a short distance of our downtown area to make a splash.

For the Whole Family

Opened in 2023 and located just 4 miles from the Bentonville Square, Creekside Park is the newest family-friendly park in the city. Creekside Park's epic water slides, soakers, and huge dumping bucket will thrill kids of any age.

The fountains at Lawrence Plaza, located just minutes from downtown, are an absolute blast for the kids. With plenty of squirting fountains to romp through, your little ones will love this conveniently located water park! 

Athletic Endeavors

At the Melvin Ford Aquatics Center, just over a mile from downtown, you’ll find a 50-meter outdoor competition pool for lap swimming and a diving well with two spring diving boards!

The Bentonville Community Center is just 4 miles from downtown and features a 25-yard, 10-lane lap competition pool. Swim lessons for those who need them! There’s even a lazy river to relax after getting your cardio in.

Bonus: These facilities feature kid-friendly swimming areas, making them perfect for family outings! With pools designed for children, everyone can enjoy the water together.

Natural Water

Just 3 miles from downtown, Coler Mountain Bike Preserve is a wonderful place to dip your toes in the water after a bike ride. Take advantage of nearby Airship Coffee to grab an iced beverage, park your bicycle, and enjoy the cold water!

McKissic Creek winds its way through the region, but if you're looking for the perfect place to take a dip, head to Wishing Springs Road off Highway 71. With miles of creek to splash around in—and easy bike access via the Wish Spring Trail—it’s basically summer perfection. Honestly, we’re wishing we were there right now.

Town Branch Park has a bicycle trail running right by it. An excellent spot to park your commuter bike and cool off during the dog days of summer! And with the recent renovations, you can enjoy the many new amenities waiting for you!
