Bentonville’s Arts & Market District—just a short walk or bike ride from the town square—includes 8th Street Market, a community-focused food hub, the Momentary, a platform for today’s art, food, and music, and more!

Within 8th Street Market lies local shops and amazing food and drink options, including my favorite ramen house, CO-OP. Comfort food at its finest, CO-OP serves indulgent, creamy broth with wavy noodles and protein of your choice. What I love most about the ramen here is the option to customize as you please while keeping certain baselines of the dish.

Open for lunch and dinner, you can look forward to experiencing authentic Japanese flavors in a modern atmosphere at an approachable price. While known for the ramen, CO-OP also serves delicious bao-buns, pork egg rolls, fried dumplings, and the classic side dish of edamame with the twist of being tossed with lime and scallion ginger oil. Plus, there’s a kid-friendly menu and several vegan and vegetarian options.

My ramen of choice at CO-OP is the Spicy Tori Paitan with creamy chicken broth, Japanese fried chicken, bean sprouts, green onion, marinated egg, chili oil, sesame seeds, and wavy noodles. I like to add additional toppings of pickled onions and corn. Yum! And my favorite place to eat it? In one of their stylish booths with a friend.
