Bentonville Film Festival champions inclusion and diversity in film, both on and off-screen. The 11th Annual BFF runs from June 16–22, 2025. Expect a fantastic lineup of features, documentaries, episodics, and shorts that truly reflect the world we live in.

Must-See Films

Deciding which incredible films to see at the festival can be tough – trust us, we know! But if we had to narrow it down to just five absolute must-sees, these would be our top recommendations for you:

1. Opening Night – East of Wall (Tue, Jun 17 – 7:00 PM)

The festival kicks off with this captivating opening film. An authentic portrait of female resilience in the ”New West" is inspired by and played by the women and girls who live it, a moment that sets the tone for the entire festival.

2. STEAM Sessions (Wed, Jun 18 – 9:00 AM)

4. “Wicked” Outdoor Film Series (Saturday, June 21, 2025 6:40 PM)

5. “The Wild Robot” Family Screening (Thu, Jun 19 – 5:30 PM)

Beyond the Big Screen: Exploring Bentonville

While the festival will undoubtedly consume much of your time, Bentonville itself is a culturally rich city that deserves to be explored.

Art & Culture:

• Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art: This is a non-negotiable pilgrimage for any art and culture enthusiast. General admission is always free!

• The Momentary: The Momentary is a contemporary art space housed in a former cheese factory. General admission is also free. Their RØDE House and Fermentation Hall are used for film festival events, so you might already find yourself there! 

• 21c Museum Hotel Bentonville: Even if you're not staying here, it's worth a visit. This boutique hotel doubles as a contemporary art museum with rotating exhibitions in its public spaces. It's truly a unique concept and seamlessly blends art into everyday life.

Culinary:

Bentonville's food scene is sophisticated and diverse. Here are a few spots:

• The Hive (at 21c Museum Hotel): For a refined dining experience focusing on "refined country cooking" and locally sourced ingredients. A great spot for a post-screening dinner.

• The Preacher's Son: Housed in a beautifully restored church, this trendy restaurant offers a unique ambiance and excellent food.
