Spring Break in Oz - Basecamp

Looking for fun, healthy, and whimsical spring break activities for the entire family? Well, look no further than Spring Break in OZ Basecamp. From March 12-26, Ozark Outdoor Foundation joins forces with Runway Group, ETHIC+Trailblazers, People for Bikes, Buddy Pegs, 37 North Expeditions and many other outdoor recreation organizations to offer two weeks of outdoor activities and entertainment for families visiting Northwest Arkansas.

Basecamp, located on Tucker’s Corner off the Bentonville Square, will serve as an outdoor hub of information for visitors and locals alike, including trail riding guidance and recommendations, where to find bike skills camps, guided bike tours, group rides and not-to-miss events happening in Bentonville. Each day will feature an activity that is fun for the whole family, including Not Your Average Dog Show presented by Rope Hounds, Strider Bikes Skills Course, Buddy Pegs Jumpbag Jam, Amazeum interactive art and more. A daily challenge, ranging from best disco moves to acrobatic alphabet skills, will be announced each morning with winners announced the following day.

Trailcat Challenge

Each week ends with Trailcat Challenge presented by Arvest Bank, Ozark Outdoor Foundation and Buddy Pegs. Trailcat Challenge, the ultimate biking scavenger hunt, will take teams through Bentonville as they solve riddles that lead to iconic pieces of public art, local businesses and amazing trails, enjoying outdoor activities along the way. The scavenger hunt will have challenges for kids (and adults) of all ages and skill levels. The wrap party will feature live music by Funk Factory, food, fun and awards. Registration for March 19 and March 26 is open now.
