Starting November 22, downtown Bentonville turns into a twinkling Winter Wonderland, kicking off with the Lighting of the Square—a dazzling display of more than 30 miles of holiday lights, live music, and a laser show that’ll leave you glowing. It’s the perfect excuse to grab a warm drink, stroll the charming streets, and soak up the festive vibes. We hear that Santa will make an appearance as part of the lighting! 🎅

 

DON’T MISS the Annual Bentonville Christmas Parade 🎄– A fun, family tradition with festive floats and community spirit is scheduled for December 13, 2025. Check out some of the new or novel local shopping offerings:

 

  • Merry & Bright Market – Experience dozens of local makers and bakers for holiday shopping at Ledger Bentonville on November 22. Pro Tip: Enjoy a stroll or bike ride up the ramps to get to a great perch for viewing the lights on the square. (Best on the south or east sides.) 🔭

  • Rink at Lawrence Plaza – Bentonville’s beloved, 7,000 square-foot, outdoor ice rink opens daily from late November through January. It’s a must for families looking to add a little sparkle to their winter fun. Tickets go on sale November 1 and are $7 (includes skate rental). For frequent flyers, they also have a rink family pass and offer private parties and lessons.

  • Holiday Workshops at Crystal BridgesCrystal Bridges Museum of American Art offers Time Loop, the nighttime forest experience and drop-in artmaking every Sunday that brings out everyone’s inner artist. And don’t forget about Winter Break Wonders, free art activities while school is out for all ages. And Santa Chris is coming back for a free photos with Santa event on November 28. 🎅🏿

  • Crock-a-Doodle –  This cheery, paint-your-own pottery studio is a perfect spot for families.
