While attending the 2022 Destinations International Annual Convention in Ontario, Canada, Visit Bentonville partnered with the Arkansas State Tourism Office and other Arkansas cities to host members of the Canadian media at the U.S. Consulate for a special Arkansas extravaganza. The event was held to engage with Canadian writers and influences to showcase the greatness of Arkansas, from culinary and the outdoors to art and music.
The Canadian media were treated to savory culinary specialties from Matt Cooper, Chef and Owner of Conifer, and music from Arkansas's Entertainer of the Year, Bonnie Montgomery.
With the help of the U.S. Consulate, Visit Bentonville was able to secure an exclusive interview for Chef Matt Cooper on the Asian Television Network (ATN) show Taste the Difference with host Kenty Khan. ATN broadcasts 54 television channels in 9 languages, serving the South Asian cultural communities in Canada, as well as the South Asian Radio Service on XM in Canada and the United States.
