Nature and Chill Vibes at Coler

1. Visit Coler Mountain Bike Preserve

Start your day with a refreshing walk or bike ride through Coler Mountain Bike Preserve. The trails are peaceful and scenic, perfect for waking up with nature. About a mile in, you’ll find Airship at Coler, a hidden coffee shop in the woods. Grab a light bite and chill on the rooftop or swings overlooking the open fields.

2. Archie’s Sandwichery

Before heading downtown, fuel up with a casual lunch at Archie’s Sandwichery. It’s laid-back, tasty, and just a short drive from Coler—ideal for keeping the day moving.

Downtown Exploration + Creative Fun

3. Block Street Records

Head downtown and browse through Block Street Records, where you’ll find vinyl, CDs, and music memorabilia. It’s a fun way to dive into Bentonville’s music scene and discover something unique. Beverley loves to come down to explore new and vintage finds.

"There is always something different to look at and so much music to find. " said the author.

4. Local Shopping

While you're downtown, pop into Blue Moon Boutique or Remedy Road for trendy fashion and gifts. Both are walkable and offer a quick, enjoyable shopping break without straying far from the action.

5. Crock A Doodle

Tap into your creative side at this paint-your-own pottery studio. Design a mug, bowl, or plate to take home as a personalized souvenir. Crock A Doodle is perfect for anyone, no matter if you have very little art skill like me or are extremely talented; everyone leaves having an amazing time.

With floor-to-ceiling views of the surrounding forest and a menu that blends modern flavors with local ingredients, it’s a perfect spot to relax and refuel.

7. Compton Gardens & Skyspace

Easily walkable from Crystal Bridges, Compton Gardens offers a peaceful retreat with native Ozark plants and winding trails. Don’t miss Skyspace, a light installation that transforms the sky into a mesmerizing canvas—especially stunning at sunset.

10. Trash Ice Cream

Cap off your evening with dessert at Trash Ice Cream - an oxymoron to itself, known for its creative take on mixing ice cream as well as its fun and colorful atmosphere. My friends and I love going to mix our own flavors.
