BENTONVILLE, AR (January 3rd, 2023) – The Dr. Compton Native Tree & Plant Sale returns to Bentonville and will be open March 27th – March 31st from 7:30am to 3:30pm. Over 60 varieties of native trees and plants will be available for purchase, with walk ups welcome. Those looking to save their spot and receive one-on-one guidance from experienced staff can book their gardener consultation here. The sale will be held at the Compton Gardens & Arboretum maintenance building, located at 407 NE B St, in Bentonville, Arkansas.
"This community sale is an opportunity for locals to support our native Arkansas ecosystem,” says Jennifer Martinez Belt, Director of Development. “In 2022, over 5,000 native plants and trees went into community. We’re thrilled to be bringing back this seasonal event.” Compton Gardens & Arboretum is a community space provided by Peel Compton Foundation, whose mission is to connect the community through nature, education, recreation, and preservation.
