Brightwater, in partnership with the University of Arkansas, is hosting a five-day (40 contact hour) hands-on workshop geared for Food Technologists. This training is designed to expand culinary arts knowledge and will help to round out a professional food product developer’s skillset. For those interested in becoming a Certified Culinary Scientist (CCS®), the 40 contact hours in this workshop can apply towards the Food Service Experience component (RCA Certification Commission).
This workshop includes the following: global flavor principles, cuisines of the Mediterranean, Creole / Atlantic Rim and Asia. Participants will also have an opportunity to cook outdoors with a basket of ingredients, allowing you to use your learning of cuisines studied that week.
