Bentonville History Day

ENTONVILLE HISTORY DAY
Every Wednesday, one Bentonville area school can take their K- 5 students on an exciting historic adventure in their home town by visiting three local museums: The Walmart Museum, The Museum of Native American History, and The Peel Mansion Museum and Heritage Gardens. At each stop, student’s will explore unique sights and receive a cool passport sticker to mark their visit!
Interest in this program has been overwhelming. Space is available weekly, every Wednesday from 9am-1:45pm on a first-come, first-served basis pending availability at each of the participating museums.
To participate, please complete the registration form below and select a date for your tour. Each school is responsible for coordinating their own transportation to and from each museum. One of our staff members will contact you to confirm your tour and to provide additional information.
Please bring your own lunch. Limited snacks and drinks are available in some of the gift shops. When visiting The Peel Mansion, students may eat their lunches on the front lawn. At the Walmart Museum, students can eat at the downtown square fountain or the Dave Peel Playground. At The Museum of Native American History, lunches can be eaten in the Great Room.
