You will not want to miss FreshGrass | Bentonville at The Momentary this October 1-2, 2021! The two-day music festival will include some of the biggest names in today's bluegrass and roots music genre, with over 15 bands performing live. Music acts include the Grammy award-winning Old Crow Medicine, Billy Strings, Jazz Legend Trombone, Shorty & Orleans Avenue, Steep Canyon Rangers, Aofie O’Donovan & Noam Pikelny, Alison Brown, Flor de Toloache, Leyla McCalla, a Tribute to Sister Rosetta Tharpe with Felica Collins, Smokey and the Mirror, the Ozark Highballers, the Irie Lions, and many more.
This family-friendly event will have many fun festivities in addition to the music performances, including FreshScores, a silent film with original live music by Alison Brown, Leyla McCalla, and Smokey and the Mirror; FreshSongs, premier performances of new music created at The House of Songs by Willi Carlisle, Bonnie Montgomery, Kalyn Fay, Mamie Minch, Sage Nizhoni, and Billy Keane; “bring-your-own instrument” pickin’ nooks; delicious food from local food truck favorites, a Fresh Kids area with activities for the kids, and exciting pop-up performances in different spaces across the Momentary's campus! This year's FreshGrass | Bentonville will take place at the Momentary, a contemporary art space located near the 8th Street Market area of Bentonville. It is a satellite to Crystal Bridges, the world-famous Museum of American Art, and is known for its exquisite indoor and outdoor art. The Momentary also houses performing arts, a variety of festivals, as well as food and drink options like the Onyx Coffee Lab, the Tower Bar, the RØDE Bar, and the Momentary Food Truck.
